DAN Thorne has brought up 300 appearances for Newbury Blues and credits friendship, loyalty and community for his remarkable one-club journey.
Thorne played his 300th game at Old Centralians in Regional 2 Severn before Christmas, marking the occasion with a bonus-point victory. And last week, Newbury secured a 34-21 win over Thornby where the fly-half was lauded across his home ground at Monks Lane.
