Time to bring in longer bans for serious injury

Injuries are part of rugby, but every so often you see something that goes beyond what is acceptable, and it’s generally seeing joints bent in a way that they aren’t meant to be.
I recall clearly Northampton’s Calum Clark getting a 32-week ban – it should have been much longer – for breaking Leicester’s Rob Hawkins’ arm in such a way that it was hard to shift the image from your mind.
