Biljon excited by strong Jersey squad

HARVEY Biljon believes his Jersey squad for next season is one of the best he has assembled.
The Reds finished fourth in the Championship last season with 13 wins from their 20 matches.
Director of rugby Biljon has brought in 15 new players to add to the squad.
“This is looking like one of the strongest squads that Jersey Reds have put together,” Biljon said. “I think we’ve made some great additions.
“We started pre-season on Monday and there’s definitely been a step up in calibre of player, and I’m sure we’ll see lots of competition throughout the season for places.
