Christmas is most people’s favourite time of the year but it does come with one disadvantage – sprouts! For 50 weeks of the year nobody touches them. They look weird, take too much time to prepare and, at the end of it all, they taste awful. If someone makes me a dinner with sprouts, I’ll eat them out of politeness but don’t ask me if I enjoyed them! No amount of dressing them up, with bacon bits and things like that, will change my mind.
