Ashton set to quit Warriors

CHRIS Ashton was in the advanced stages late last week of agreeing to a departure from Worcester Warriors before his old Sale Sharks boss Steve Diamond starts at Sixways on Monday morning.
The former England winger, who is under contract until the end of the season, was suspended by the Warriors in October amid suggestions of a training ground scuffle.
Rumours that Ashton, who is 35 next March, was unhappy at the club first surfaced in September after he had played just three and a half games since moving to the Warriors from Harlequins.
