Sale prop Valery Morozov off home to Russia

RUSSIAN prop Valery Morozov is set to leave Premiership semi-finalists Sale Sharks to return home for personal reasons.
Morozov, 26, joined the Sharks in January 2019 from Russian side Enisei-STM after Andrei Ostrikov and Vadim Cobilas recommended him to then Sharks boss Steve Diamond.
The loosehead is closing in on 40 appearances for the Sharks and was a member of the side that won the Premiership Cup against Harlequins at the AJ Bell Stadium in September. Morozov was under contract until next season, but Sale have agreed to release him early to return to Russia.
