DAZN in TV rights bid

AMERICAN streaming giants DAZN are set to launch in the UK later this month.
The Premiership’s deal with BT Sport runs out at the end of the season, and the fact DAZN already work with Premier Rugby could persuade them to enter the running for the rights.
DAZN provides Premier Rugby’s world feed, highlights packages and video facilities for television match officials. They could provide clubs with a much-needed cash boost.
Sky Sports’ contract with the RFU is also up for grabs. Autumn internationals rights were recently snapped up by Amazon.
