Quins to swoop for Scotsman Steele

HARLEQUINS are poised to sign London Irish scrum-half Scott Steele who was one of nine departures confirmed by the Exiles.
The former Scotland U20 international,who started his career with Leicester,twice helped Irish win promotion to the Premiership.
Steele,26,who turned to rugby late after playing football for Kilmarnock in his youth,joined the Exiles six years ago from the Tigers.
Quins had been looking for a third scrum-half to help provide support for Danny Care and Martin Landajo.
