Sharks get the green light to go for Wiese

SALE SHARKS have won the race to land South African prospect Cobus Wiese after Saracens agreed to release him from his contract.
Wiese, right, is one of the brightest players in the Stormers squad and had agreed a deal with Saracens before they opted to be relegated from the Premiership this summer.
Sale were keen to sign him, and they have now been given the green light after his contract was Saracens ripped up.
It means that Sale are now unlikely to make a move for Sharks lock Le Roux Roets who is looking for a deal in the Premiership....
