Japan may be denied their new glory run

WORLD Rugby released their official viewing figures for RWC2019 this week and they make impressive reading, with the headline figure probably being a record 857m worldwide for the tournament in total and 51.3m for the final between South Africa and England.
That last figure includes 12.8m in Britain which made it the second most watched programme here in 2019 behind the Gavin and Stacy Christmas Special.
It is the numbers for Japan itself though that are perhaps the most impressive.
