Dumped Smith on mission to impress Pivac

DISCARDED Wales prop Nicky Smith is confident he can turn the Ospreys’ season around as he targets a return to Wayne Pivac’s international squad.
Smith was a shock omission from Pivac’s first Six Nations party with the former Scarlets coach preferring Wyn Jones, Rhys Carre and Rob Evans as his loosehead options.
Smith has vowed to do his talking on the pitch as he aims to force his way back into Pivac’s thinking.
