RFU delay Borthwick to Leicester

LEICESTER TIGERS are having to wait before they can appoint Steve Borthwick to their coaching staff after failing to reach an agreement with the RFU.
Tigers are still keen to take Borthwick to Welford Road but the RFU aren’t interested in releasing him for nothing. Borthwick is set to remain as part of Eddie Jones coaching squad for the Six Nations.
And Tigers will have to wait for him to work his notice period, understood to be six months
