The keyboard warriors had a field day when it was announced that Saracens had been fined heavily and docked 35 points for breaches of the Premiership’s salary cap, but should we feel comfortable about that level of punishment?
On rival clubs’ supporters’ websites the ‘hang ‘em high and flog ‘em’ brigade were out in force, with no sanction apparently too extreme for these ‘cheats’.
