Ashton still keen to make Test splash

CHRIS ASHTON has told Blindside that he still has ambitions to add to his 44 England caps next season.
The 32-year-old Sale Sharks winger was named in a World Cup training squad at the end of last season but pulled out because his wife Melissa is expecting their second child.
Ashton, below, has been in Eddie Jones’ plans since returning from France to play for Sale.
He was selected in the squad for the 2018 Autumn internationals, making his first Test appearance in four years against South Africa and then scoring the following week against New Zealand.
