WORLD Cup winner Steve Thompson thinks Eddie Jones was right to not include Danny Cipriani in his squad for Japan.
Cipriani, who joined Gloucester upon the end of his second spell at Wasps last summer, was last capped during the 2018 tour to South Africa and his non-selection for the tournament has been criticised by rugby supporters and former professional players.
But England’s 2003 Rugby World Cup winning hooker Steve Thompson is not among them.
