Ryan Conbeer began his sporting life as a footballer but remembers the day he knew he really wanted to be a rugby player as if it were yesterday.
In 2008, as a wideeyed nine-year-old, Haverfordwest-born Conbeer had the honour of stepping out as a mascot at the Millennium Stadium ahead of a testimonial for Wales legend Shane Williams, who had just become the nation’s leading try scorer.
