Does off-field behaviour matter in professional rugby, or should a player’s skill be the only thing of relevance? The question has arisen again because the All Blacks have included Sevu Reece in their latest squad, despite him being ordered last year to compensate his partner after an instance of domestic violence.
Apparently Reece dragged his girlfriend to the ground, injuring her face, hip and knee, but was discharged without being convicted, although he was ordered to pay compensation to her.
