In recent days Dan Leo’s film about Rupeni Caucaunibuca has touched a lot of people. Made for the Pacific Rugby Players’ Welfare organisation (PRPW), Caucau describes how he made a lot of money, and basically blew it on alcohol and handouts to people he befriended.
The film makes some important points, and invites us to bemoan the way in which Caucau was exploited by his employers over the years.
