Women have finally been granted day on big stage

I WAS pleased to read this week of proposed plans for a Wales against Barbarians double header at Principality Stadium later this year. It is about time we had the Wales Women’s side playing at the national stadium and the chance for them to do that on the same day as the men is a great opportunity for them. As a sport rugby has to continue to appeal to everyone. That includes both sexes.
It promises to be a great occasion with the men’s game set to be Wayne Pivac’s first as head coach of Wales and with his predecessor Warren Gatland poised to be in the Barbarians camp! I ...
