Wallabies peform a new trick to get White on board

RUGBY Australia has forced itself into contractual contortions in order to circumvent eligibility regulations that it put in place to stop the exodus of Wallaby players to the richer pastures of European and Japanese club rugby.
The most recent instance of yoga-like Aussie elasticity concerns the Exeter No.9 Nic White, who, despite being contracted to the Devon club for another two seasons, has signed a contract to play for the Brumbies in 2020-21 despite playing for the Chiefs until the end of the 2019-20 season.
