SALE supporters may well adopt South Africa as their ‘second team’ in this year’s World Cup after the signing of Faf de Klerk’s Springbok teammate Lood de Jager was confirmed.
The towering 38-cap lock has joined the Sharks on a three-year deal from the Bulls, swelling the Premiership club’s South African contingent which will also be bolstered by Rob du Preez and Akker van der Merwe next season.
