SALE SHARKS have jumped to the front of the queue of clubs looking to sign Wales loosehead prop Nicky Smith, who has rejected the offer of a new Ospreys deal.
Smith is keen on a move to the Premiership at the end of the season even though it would spell the end of his international career.
The 24-yearold Ospreys star has been capped 26 times by his country which leaves him well short of the 60- cap threshold to play outside the Principality.
