Nottingham leave it late with O’Leary’s drop of magic

SHANE O’Leary’s drop goal sealed a bonus point win for Nottingham with the final kick of a wildly fluctuating match.
After prop Gerard Ellis scored twice for Cov, the visitors looked buried when trailing by 14 points with 17 minutes left.
But replacement scrum half George Cox created tries for Sean Scanlon and Jordan Coghlan and when the hosts failed to secure a defensive lineout in their own 22, Nottingham worked the position from which O’Leary dropped into the pocket and bagged the points.
