New Chief: Tom Price
EXETER CHIEFS are poised to win the race to land former England U20 second row Tom Price from the Scarlets.
Price, 26, who was born in Leamington Spa, started his career locally before joining the pro ranks at Leicester Tigers before moving to Wales to play for Llanelli.
Part of England's U20 World Cup-winning squad in 2013, he will help replace Scotland A international Ollie Atkins and Toby Salmon who are leaving Sandy Park. Price has already had a medical in Devon and is set to be announced in the near future alongside Newcastle Falcons lock Will Witty.
