WILL CARGILL
THE CORNISH PIRATES FLY-HALF/ FULL-BACK TAKES US THROUGH HIS PET HATES FROM THE RUGBY WORLD AND BEYOND.

1. Fussy eaters
I’ll pretty much try anything that’s put in front of me food-wise and I struggle to understand why not everyone is the same. My Mrs is guilty of this, if something is cold and it is supposed to be hot, she won’t touch it.
TRP VERDICT: We’ve picked the bones out of this one and allowed it through.

2. Postponed matches
Can you remember a late winter/spring as wet as this one? We had two games called off in the space of a few weeks over January/February, against Hartpury and Yorkshire Carnegie. As they were postponed late in the day, we’d trained all week for them and then had to double up on the training for the rearranged fixture. Also, it would have been nice to use the rest weekends to go away or do something.
TRP VERDICT: Don’t worry we’re not going to rain on your parade, you’re in again.

3. Rude people
I’m a Northerner and like to think of myself as friendly. Unfortunately, not everyone has the same sunny disposition and prefer to walk around with a scowl on their face and be grumpy. If I say hello or good morning to someone as I walk past them, it’s not too much to expect a reply is it?
TRP VERDICT: Surly not three out of three!?
