1. Playing in snow
It’s no fun playing rugby when you can’t feel your fingers or your toes, it’s just not conducive to running rugby. The worst time was when we played a B&I Cup game at Huddersfield. I know you can’t predict when the cold snap will take hold, but I reckon a six-week winter break over December and January would see us through the worst of the weather.
