REPLACEMENT Luke Fowden scored his first try for Fylde in the final minute of the game to help his side see off Bishop’s Stortford.
The home side had led 19-3 after first-half tries from Thomas Grimes, Oliver Parkinson and Thomas Carleton but a penalty try for Stortford reduced the deficit just before the break.
Chris Smith and replacement Stephen Ball then levelled the game for the visitors, before Fowden was fed by Carleton to secure the win.
