Premiership clubs ready to swoop on Edinburgh

SAM HIDALGO-CLYNE is ready to leave Edinburgh at the end of the season after Gregor Townsend’s autumn Test snub.
Scrum-half Hidalgo- Clyne, 24, was overlooked by Townsend to face Samoa, New Zealand and Australia after skipper Greig Laidlaw was ruled out with a broken ankle.
Instead Townsend went with Nathan Fowles to back up Glasgow duo Ali Price and Henry Pyrgos and now Hidalgo-Clyne is set to join a Premiership club when his contract runs out.
