Lam keen to recruit prop star Afoa

Wanted man: John Afoa

BRISTOL could be set to further upset the apple cart in the South West by pinching World Cup winning prop forward John Afoa from Gloucester. The 34-year-old spent a couple of years playing under Bristol coach Pat Lam in New Zealand before securing a move to Ulster after the 2011 World Cup.
Afoa has been playing for the Cherry and Whites since 2014 but is wanted by Bristol ahead of a return to the Premiership next season.
