LEICESTER want Steve Mafi to return to Welford Road when his contract with French side Castres runs out at the end of the season.
The Tongan lock, right, spent four seasons with the Tigers before leaving for the Western Force in 2014. Mafi, 27, who is a former Australian schoolboy international, is believed to be keen to make a return to the Premiership and link up again with the Tigers. Blindside understands Tigers are still keen to complete a deal for Wallaby hooker Tatafu Polota- Nau.
