■VETERAN Western Force prop Pek Cowan appears to be unlikely to be heading to the Premiership after the demise of the Super Rugby franchise. The Wallaby star, 31, who is the cousin of Scotland and London Irish flanker Blair Cowan, is expected to leave Australia following the Perth side’s controversial axing.
But Blindside has been told that Premiership clubs are bulking at paying him around £200,000 a year.
