AN INSPIRED second half display saw Ampthill cruise to victory against Bishop’s Stortford in the National League.
It looked as if Stortford were on for a crucial victory having led at the break 10-6 but five secondhalf tries secured the victory for an impressive Ampthill.
Daniel Leo’s penalty in the 20th minute was followed by Nicholas Hankin’s thunderous try just three minutes later to put the hosts in control.
