A HAT tip please for rugby pioneers Joy Neville and Alhambra Nievas who later this month will become the first women to referee senior men’s internationals.
Nievas, a former Spanish international and the 2016 World Rugby referee of the year, has already served as an assistant referee in the USA game against Tonga last year and will now take charge of the Rugby Europe game between Finland and Norway on October 14.
