EXETER Chiefs scrum-half Nikola Matawalu has been cleared of sexually assaulting a woman while on a Christmas night out with his teammates.
Former Bath player Matawalu, 28, had strenuously denied a charge of sexual assault, said to have happened at John Gandys bar in Exeter on December 3.
It took a jury of six men and six women two hours to clear the Fiji international of the allegations.
