That was really important. This has been quite a building season with girls coming back into the Fifteens squad from the Rio Olympics after two years playing Sevens. That tour was an important stepping stone, especially against teams of the calibre of New Zealand, Canada and Australia.
Beating New Zealand on their own turf before the World Cup was massively important. It was an all-round performance, and what was pleasing is we controlled the parts of the game we needed to.
