Crotty rib injury adds to Hansen concern

RYAN Crotty gave the All Blacks more injury woe yesterday after suffering a rib cartilage injury in the Crusaders’ dramatic 25-22 win over the Highlanders.
The 28-year-old centre, below, has been the linchpin of Steve Hansen’s side in the past couple of years but his participation in the Test series against the Lions is now in serious doubt.
The Crusaders will take on the Lions next Saturday and although the first Test is not until June 24, Crusaders head coach Scott Robertson suggested that Hansen should be looking for his next option at inside centr...
