AUSTRALIAN mascot Wally has been on the missing list since being given to teenage fullback Jordan Petaia to look after but we can report he is safe in the Aussies’ Disneyland hotel in Tokyo.
The toy Wallaby is given to the youngest player in the squad to keep an eye on but Petaia admits he has let his guard slip in the run-up to this World Cup.
He said: “It went missing in Perth. I lost it in Odawara I think. That was on me, I left it in the hotel somewhere. He’s safe now. I can’t keep track.”
