Lightning denied late victory by the upright

LOUGHBOROUGH saw a late penalty strike the upright to deny them victory.
The teams were evenly matched throughout and both had an ace up their sleeve with big stars on their benches.
For Gloucester-Hart pury, Natasha Hunt – returning from a failed HIA a few weeks back – joined the fray early in the second half while Loughborough Lightning waited until the final 20 minutes to unleash theirs, and the cheer that greeted the substition showed just how much Emily Scarratt has been missed.
