SARACENS opened up a two-point lead at the top of the table with Poppy Cleall’s try earning the bonus-point at Loughborough.
Bristol Bears had briefly gone top thanks to their 48-7 win against DMP Sharks but Sarries regained the league lead later in the day despite losing Cleall to a yellow card.
Saracens got off to a great start when England forwards Marlie Packer and Cleall scored, before Helena Rowland’s try cut the visitors’ lead to five.
