SARACENS held off a thrilling late surge from Loughborough Lightning to keep the pressure on at the top of the table.
Leading by 19 points entering the game’s final quarter, Saracens looked to have wrapped things up nice and early, but a trio of scores from the visiting Lightning cut the gap to just three in the closing stages, before the hosts made things safe at the last.
