BOURNVILLE took top spot in the Midlands Premier after beating Peterborough Lions 50-12. The Lions scored in the opening minute but Bournville replied with Tom Burrows scoring a hat-trick with Ash Scriven, Sam Herrington, James Burgoyne, Ben Tibbetts and Steve Hardy also crossing.
In the Northern Premier Rossendale moved out of the bottom two following a 32-21 win at Ilkley. Dominic Moon scored a brace for the visitors while Jordan Lord, Ben Cave and Damon Hall also scored to go 29-0 up before the hosts responded.
