GLOUCESTER-Hartpury preserved their perfect record but were pushed all the way, before securing victory by the minimum margin over at Kingsholm.
Gritty Trailfinders produced one of their strongest performances of the season in pursuit of a first-ever win over the champions and began brightly with Alana Borland finishing from close range after a sustained spell inside home territory. Meg Jones converted.
