Merthyr fight back for top spot

MERTHYR battled back from 12-3 down at half time to run out eventual 17-12 victors at Beddau and return to the top of the Welsh Premiership.
Wing Ewan Roberts and full-back Cody Baker, one converted by Ollie Wilde, had threatened to send Merthyr to only their second defeat of the campaign.
However, second-half tries from hooker Ellis Shipp and outside-half Ben Jones edged it for the Ironmen at Mount Pleasant Park.
