Wales head coach Steve Tandy calls in trio to backroom staff on interim basis

Wales head coach Steve Tandy has brought in Duncan Jones, Dan Lydiate and Rhys Patchell to his backroom team on an interim basis for the Autumn Series.

Wales head coach Steve Tandy has brought in Duncan Jones, Dan Lydiate and Rhys Patchell to his backroom team on an interim basis for the Autumn Series.

Former prop Jones, who won 57 caps, has been coaching with the Ospreys since 2018. He will operate as scrum coach.
Lydiate and Patchell, who both retired from professional rugby at the end of last season, come on board from Dragons coaching team.
Former flanker Lydiate will assist Tandy on defence, while fly-half Patchell will work with Neil Jenkins as a skills coach, with a specific responsibility for kicking.
