HOLDERS Neath, Pontypool, Ystrad Rhondda and Cross Keys advanced to the semi-finals of the WRU Championship Cup, while Cardiff Met and Narberth picked up wins to keep the pressure on the top-four sides in the Admiral Championship.
Pontypool worked hard to earn their semi-final spot, making a late comeback to get past Bargoed.
Pooler found themselves 14-0 down after Rhys Jones scored from a strong drive, before Huw Anderson was sin-binned for his part in Bargoed’s penalty try.
