Williams lands try double as Bedwas go second

BEDWAS moved up to second in the Championship after a comprehensive 38-13 away victory over lowly Tata Steel.
This was the only fixture played in the Championship yesterday after six games were called off due to a combination of bad weather and Covid. But Bedwas put on a good show scoring five tries courtesy of Matthew Williams (twice), Dion McIntosh, Aaron Billingham, and Matty Bancroft.
The try of the match fell to Williams who beat three defenders before running in unopposed from 40 metres.
