EDINBURGH are top of Conference B after a thumping bonus point win over short-handed Southern Kings.
Kings took the lead after JT Jackson’s kick was gathered by winger Erich Cronje to score, but they were dealt a blow when tighthead Pieter Scholtz was red carded after 13 minutes for leading with his elbow into the neck of John Barclay.
Edinburgh took advantage with hooker Mike Willemse going over for a try, with stand-off Jaco van der Walt converting to put them 7-5 up.
