EDINBURGH held on for a gritty win at Stadio Monigo to ease the pressure on head coach Sean Everitt following back-to-back defeats to Scottish rivals Glasgow Warriors.
Ben Vellacott went over off a ruck and Ross Thompson added the conversion.
A Thompson penalty soon followed and the visitors took a 10-point lead into the break.
Scotland flyer Darcy Graham showed his class to side-step through the defence to score Edinburgh’s second try early in the second half, but Thompson missed the conversion.
