New signings face tough test

NEW Scarlets signings Ioan Lloyd, Taine Plumtree and Alex Craig make their URC debuts today as the Welsh franchise kick off their campaign in South Africa against the Bulls.
Openside flanker Ben Williams makes his first start in the URC at the age of 21, having made his debut off the bench last term, while on the bench 19-year-old hooker Isaac Young and fly-half Charlie Titcombe are in line to make their first appearances in the competition.
Kieran Hardy, a late call-up to Wales’ World Cup squad, starts at scrum-half.
