Chinnor inside centre James Bourton believes The Champ’s new playoff edge has given the league a shot of adrenaline it badly needed – and says his side are firmly targeting a top six finish after building real momentum since an early wobble.

The Oxfordshire outfit lost their opening two away trips – at newly promoted Richmond and then at runaway leaders Ealing Trailfinders – but Bourton says the reaction from game week three onwards has underlined the character in Nick Easter and Craig Hampson’s group.
